Game Day Fun

We started off the day with the Tri Delt Pancake Breakfast...
Emma was loving the food and seeing her friends!
We went upstairs so Emma could wake Cherrie up and Emma thought she was pretty grown up to run all over a sorority house!
(Thanks Kerri for helping me out so much!)
Stacie, Sean Edward, Sarah, Allison (with Owen), Jessica, me, Sophie, Kerri, Gracie, Emma...and a lap full of syrup!
O-U!!!! Emma's first football game this season!
Thanks Muka for the adorable cheerleader outfit!!!
Lauren and Emma...Sa Sa helped us get to the field to meet some of the OU Pom squad and Emma was in awe...
Just gazing at Lauren...
Lauren was so sweet to let Emma hold her pom poms!

Class of 1999!

My 10 year high school reunion was this past month...I can't believe it's been 10 years!
Most of us are married, with several kids, jobs, homes, pets...
It seems just yesterday we were at Metro, eating donuts before class, making football posters during cheerleading practice, Stu Co retreats, and maybe skipping class a little bit!
Me, Laura, Lisa, Daena
Gerod
OU played its season opener the same night...so the husbands didn't really move from the couch!
Ashley, me, Lisa

Uncle Damon

Emma & Uncle Damon
Emma loves her Uncle Damon! She loves to sit and read books with him, play with toys, and boss him around...he's so patient with her!
We love you Damon...Dae-mine!!!

Curls, curls, curls

Emma decided she wanted to have her hair curled like a "big girl". For those of you who know me well, I'm far from being an expert on styling hair...but it was fun!

Seriously...look at all that hair!

Final product!
Love you Emma Rose...

The Girls

The girls at the Doke house are busy these days. I'm not the best about grabbing my camera to take pics...but here are a few!
Sophie loves...
-sitting under the kitchen table
-clapping to music
-eating anything off the floor
-kissing/slobbering and cuddling
-her Jillie
Emma likes Sophie...most of the time!

Sweet Sophie is almost 10 months old..
She's crawling, climbing stairs, saying 'mama', waving bye, bye...

Chef Emma Rose
Emma loves to be in the kitchen cooking, baking, cleaning...anything! We bake a lot these days and this morning, she decided on PINK cookies!
with some sprinkles of course...
PINK Cookie Recipe
2 1/2 cups flour
1 teas baking powder
1 teas salt
1 teas cinnamon
1 cup butter (softened)
1 1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 teas vanilla
red food coloring
Cream butter and sugar, add egg and vanilla, add dry ingredients
Bake 350 for 10-12 minutes
One of our favorite t.v. chefs insists baking measurements must be exact...
I don't think the chefs on Foodnetwork have a 2 year old in the kitchen.
Our measurements are in dashes, sprinkles, hand fulls...and they're still scrumptious cookies!
Emma loves to wear her apron Abbey made for her when she was born...who knew we'd use it so much!
Love you girls so much...my little Bear and Lynn!
