1st haircut

something on my to-do list has been a haircut for sophie. I trimmed the back ends of her hair once...other than that, it was time for her first haircut. who better than Allison?!? she's so sweet with little ones and does such a great job getting them to hold still.
I love this little outfit, emma wore it all the time and it's so sweet to see sophie lynn wearing it now.
"cheese!"
can you see the little ornery look on her face? she is the sweetest thing and oh so mischievous at the same time!
you will be a big sister soon little Boo.
~thanks Al for the great haircut! we love you!

for Alice

a few of my close friends blessed us with a girls' dinner at Charleston's and then prayer over Alice at our house afterwards. I felt so honored and loved!
the day began with errands with my girls...and then I came home to a swept, mopped, vacuumed, and cleaned house, and folded laundry by Alicia.
and then off to dinner!
this book is a treasure.
my friends spent time worshipping and listening to the Lord for His heart for our baby girl. then everyone wrote down the words, scripture, pictures...and then shared and prayed over Alice.
so sweet and powerful! our little one is truly loved.
in the middle of the adults sharing and praying, emma rose prayed for her sister, thanksgiving for her and that she would have a good day in mommy's belly.
I will love getting to tell Alice some day how her big sister prayed for her every day before she was even born.
my dear friends
(a few friends needed to get home to kids and hubbies after dinner- we so missed you!)
alice received some cute gifts too! our sweet friend laura made this frame, she was also given pink slippers...dresses...diapers...books.
we're so ready for her to be here!

Psalm 34:1-8
I will praise the Lord at all times;
His praise will always be on my lips.
Mu soul will rejoice in the Lord;
let the afflicted hear and rejoice.
Glorify the Lord with me...
Those who look to Him are radiant...
Taste and see that the Lord is good!

chris and I are more than grateful for this night of blessing and words from the Lord!
this book of promises and truths spoken over her life means more to me than I can ever express.
we love you alice elizabeth!

SuLLeY is 4!!!

we were happy to celebrate Sulley's 4th birthday this past weekend!
I remember the day he was born and I can't believe that was 4 years ago!
we had so much fun out at Jeanie's house going on a treasure hunt, then pizza, cake, ice cream, and a pinata full of candy!
emma spent some time hanging out and chatting with mike and jade...this girl cracks me up!
sweet annie margaret
this is my dear friend abbey's baby girl. she was laying on the blanket just laughing and it was the sweetest sound...not to mention the sweetest face!
sophie helped herself to 3 slices of cheese pizza and later some cake...
seriously?
the Birthday Boy!!!
Sulley, we love you so much! you are a treasure and we are grateful to have you as a friend!
we pray His richest blessings over you this year! you are loved!

she's coming!!!

soon...in just 3 weeks Alice will be here!
yesterday, I was on a nesting kick during the girls' naps and so I installed, double anchored, and reinstalled and double anchored the girls' car seats about 3 times! I kept changing my mind about where I wanted everyone. by the end, I was a sweaty mess...but it's done! my little row of princesses!
you know you're a house of girls when there are fairy wings, princess dresses and shoes everywhere- including the car! my girls can be SO girly, and then today, I passed them lunch from Sonic and they ate like linebackers!
funny girls!

doke has decided...

well, some of you know, Chris gets to name our baby...why you ask? when it came time to name Sophie, Chris liked Ruby as well. I kept seeing Ruby Tuesday commercials and all I could think was "burger & fries". so we met in the middle with Sophie with the agreement that Chris would get to name the next baby.

he's taken his sweet time.
I am SUCH the planner, organizer, and want to know right now! so it's been a good learning experience for me, although I have probably asked him weekly if not daily "what are we naming her?"
he has decided and her name will be...
Alice Elizabeth
"Allie Beth"
Alice means noble, truth, exalted
Elizabeth means God's promise, God's daughter
***********************
so, sweet Alice, our Allie Beth, our sweet one...we will see you in 4 weeks!
love you already!
