His Princess

At night, we love to put worship music on and dance for Jesus!
Every time, Emma asks for her pink princess dress before she dances.
"I'm Jesus' princess!" and we say "Yes you are baby girl!"
Our friend Grant took this picture last night of her dancing for the Lord.
Luke 10:21
"I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and have revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this was your good pleasure."

And Baby Makes 5!!!

Our little precious one will be here in early October!!!
The Lord must have mighty plans in store for this little one because she/he has ignored the blood tests of hormone levels and is in fact the result of prayer, prophetic dreams, and immense desires of our hearts.
Thank you Jesus for this precious gift of another child!
We so look forward to meeting this new precious one this fall!
Precious One, you will be held, prayed for, cared for, and lavishly loved...we love you already!

Happy Birthday Rose

I went a little crazy with pictures on this post...I just couldn't decide between all of them!
Happy Birthday to Emma Rose!
I can't believe you are 3 years old already! From the second you were born, you have been the sweetest thing in the world!
I tell Emma her birth-day story each year on her birthday. I had just been to see Dr. Jarvis and I had not progressed at all. We scheduled an induction for the following week. The next night, I went to sleep at midnight, only to be woken up at 2:30am to my water breaking! After 9.5 hours of labor, Emma's heart wasn't tolerating the contractions and we were rushed into a c-section.

First day of Mother's Day Out

Emma is such a sweet sister to her Sopheez (Sophie).
"Dr. Jarvis say, 'Sophie Lynn, time to come out of mommy's belly!' and Sophie came out!
Crazy nap hair!

Tiny little girl in her leggings!

Grrrr!
We took Emma to the Fiesta Bowl in 2008. She loved watching the game. She'd had plenty of practice because I took her in my Bijorn to every home game that year. She fell asleep during the 4th quarter and just went to sleep in the Bijorn.

Emma slept for most of the first year...seriously. As I was looking at all of her baby pictures, she's sleeping in most of them!

Going to the red & white scrimmage!

Sleeping again...

The day she was born...sleeping!

Here she is on the morning of her birthday!
Our household was actually very sick the weekend of Emma's birthday dinner. Muka and Uncle Damon stayed in Tulsa since we were contagious. We can't wait to celebrate with them this weekend!

Emma loves Orange Tree so we met her friends there for some yogurt!

Nolan, Keaton, Graham, Sean Edward, Sulley, and the girls
Bear, we love you sweet one. You are such a joy in our lives!
I love how particular you are, how you like things exactly the way you like them.
I love how you don't know a stranger and love to talk and hug everyone you meet.
I love how tender hearted and sensitive you are.
I love to listen to you pray for good dreams and for your toys.
Baby girl, He formed your inward parts and He wove you in your mommy's womb. I will give thanks to the Lord for you are fearfully and wonderfully made. His eyes have seen your unformed substance and in His book were all written the days that were ordained for you.
~Psalm 139:13-16
Love you Bear!

Let It Snow!

It's been awhile since our last post!
This is the blizzard from December! Emma loved playing in the snow and going for walks in the snow with her daddy!

Our biggest hassle was not eating the brown and black snow in parking lots, sidewalks, etc.
Love you Bear!

My Mother

Happy Birthday to my wonderful, loving, and kind mom.

This December my mom celebrated her 61st birthday...
It honors me to share some pieces from her 61 years of her life and the 28 years I have been blessed to know her as my wonderful mom.
Yvonne Lynn Fisher was born on December 30th in 1949.
She lost her own mom at 14 years old and even as the youngest child in her family, began taking care of others.
She grew up wanting to be a lawyer, but shelved her desire after a college adviser said she should be a teacher instead.
She gave birth to my brothers and I...that was the start of selfless and loving motherhood.
In 1998 she graduated with her law degree and went on to be the assistant district attorney for Tulsa county. There she fought for and gave a voice to children who needed protection.
My mom is a survivor. My mom is a fighter. My mom is living proof that our heavenly Father is faithful, loving, and near to us always.
Mom, He has been with you from the minute you were born, throughout your childhood, your good times and your heart aches. The past 5 years have been more than difficult and yet, you remain victorious in the Lord.
My prayer for you...
"He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, which yields fruit in its season and its leaf does not wither; and in whatever he does, he prospers." ~Psalm 1:3

Love you so much and I am truly honored to be your daughter!
